The event would be followed by the Ghana Property Awards Night on the Saturday evening at the same Venue.
Recent media announcements on affordable housing have created a great deal of interest in housing, and it is expected that the exhibition will attract many people, who may use the occasion to either commence or complete arrangements to own a house.
Given the immense benefits the exhibition will bring to participating members, GREDA has extended an invitation to all real estate developers across the country to participate in the local housing exhibition.
The Theme for this year is 'Exploiting Innovative Building Materials for a Sustainable Built Environment'.
In September this year, GREDA and the Ghana Property Awards committee, unveiled the list of nominees in the 16 craft categories who have been chosen from a field of talent, innovative development to cost effective home development in the property and construction industry.
The award categories include; Best Architecture (Commercial), Best Office development, Commercial Building Management Award, Interior Design Award, Hotel Development, Best Inputs Supplier, Best Recreational Park, Property Funding Partner, Residential Developer.
Others include Redeveloper of the year, Developer of the year (Up-market Properties) Developer of (Lower Income),Property Company of the Year, Service Plots Provider of the Year Award, Property New Comer of the year and the Property Personality of the Year Award.
The Chairman of GAPOA Awards 2011, Mr. Togbor Mensah in unveiling the list of nominees stated 'We are proud to be able to honor the incredibly creative home development and the artistic achievement of our GAPOA Awards Nominees.
With more submissions than ever before, this year's nominations represent the best of the best. These awards shine light on the amazing work that property developers contribute that is too often overshadowed.'
