The Guitar Recital, which will take place at the Alliance Francaise at 7:00 pm, is to commemorate the occasion of the Spanish National Day. It will also herald the 3rd edition of the Ghana Jazz Festival.

Performing alongside Josete Ordonez will be Ghana's own Kyekyeku, cast in the shadow of legend Koo Nimo. The event is free to children, with adults paying a ridiculous token of                  GH¢ 3.00

The Cultural Affairs Officer at the Spanish Embassy in Ghana, Hernández Canchado Miriam in an interview with Myjoyonline.com revealed the rich cultural diversity of a country, known better for its reservoir of talents in football.

With five locally dominant languages, Miriam said the Siesta time which many Ghanaians are now used to, thanks to the Cuando Siesmia, Esmeralda, Ruby and La Tormentor which have dominated the local TV screens, and also popular in Spain .

'If you plan your holidays and you go to the North of Spain, that is one trip. But don't think you have seen Spain. You should go to the North, South, West and East, just to be able to say I have been to Spain,' she noted.

What about the beauty of Spanish women? Miriame said, that is for the interested eyes only.
