Since gospel music is an aspect of preaching the word, gospel musicians are regarded as preachers of the word.
As a result of these principles, Anointed Singers have called on all gospel musicians to be role models to curb the decline of morality in the system.
Anointed Singers, who have been absent for some time now, were speaking with some journalists prior to the official launch of their latest album.
Descending heavily on other musicians, they reiterated that 'we can't live like other people because our fans look up to us every day; they want to do what we do.'
Criticizing videos from circular music, such as Hip-life and other genres of music, they said the women in the videos dressed indecently and danced provocatively, adding that these corrupted the young ones watching at home. They called on industry players to help curb this canker that had befallen the industry.
They also complained about the lyrics used by other musicians, advising artistes who were guilty of using profane lyrics to desist from that kind of practice.
They advised parents to caution their wards to desist from watching those kinds of videos, and instead worship the Lord with all their heart.
Anointed Singers are set to launch their latest album on December 6, 2011 on one of the television stations.
Their latest album includes hit songs like ' Bohye Ba', 'Onyame Mere' and ' Su'.
