An international film festival is seeking films from Ghana to include in its annual festival.

The International Black Man Film Festival is in its tenth year. Films will be screened in November 2011, simultaneously in Atlanta, USA, and Accra, Ghana.

Festival
Director Yemi Toure says: "We are seeking Ghana films about Black men-- men as creators, survivors, style setters, as well as fathers, activists, and doers. Films can be about relationships, politics, human rights, successes and failures, conflict and cooperation, the arts, spiritual questions, or any subject in between".

Features, documentaries, student films, comedies, experimental works, shorts and other works are all welcome.

The films can focus on men in Ghana or anywhere in the world. Women filmmakers of Ghana are equally welcome to submit works. Films will be screened in both Ghana and USA.

For a step-by-step guide to submitting a film, go to blackmanfilmfest.net, and click on "Call for Films".
