The film, a feature on the second world war, shot on PANAVISION(35mm),on locations in England and Ghana, features Tommy Ebow Ansah, Tony Trent, and Surinder Singh Ghuman as well as evergreen Ghanaian Actor, George Williams.
The
historic and action packed movie during its DVD launch in England on the 14th of August, 2011, was commended by no other person than the Mayor of Slough Councillor Sukdjit Dhaliwal, who was in attendance.
Other prominent guests who attended the event and testified to the quality of the movie, were budding London based actress Nancy Ameyaw, producer Godwin Osabutey, and the Member of Parliament for Slough, Fionna Mactargatt who made a brief appearance at the event. Big H Entertainment (UK) boss Harry Fayers-Rushton, Bernard Odjidja, the veteran editor of the film, were all present to witness African cinema at its best.
The movie has a British Board of Film Classsification status, and talks about three missing soldiers Jafa, Jake and Singh who become embroiled in their own individual battle for supremacy in the jungles of Burma, in the year 1944, during world war two, leading to the death of one in the group.
Speaking to the paper, Ato Yanney Jnr of Flamboyant Films, the Tema based Production house, and son of the late director ,stated that because the launch date for the DVD copies to be released into the market in Ghana has been fixed for early next year, they are giving opportunity to the general public to view it this weekend at the Executive Theatre, Tv3, Kanda, from Friday 18- Sunday 20th of November 2011.
The film is being supported by computer giants, IPMC, Ghana's number one in information Technology, Topspeed Limited, Royal Magma Ghana Limited and Meridian FM to mention but a few.
